COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES
Our goal has always been to provide a space where people can pursue their own fitness, health and wellness goals in a welcoming and safe environment. We built this fitness community around that goal and the COVID-19 pandemic did not change that. It did, however, alter our definition of safety – not only for our members but also for our instructors, families, friends and community members.
If you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, or believe you may have come in contact with someone who has COVID-19, please do not attend classes and notify us immediately so we may take steps to limit further exposure.
”While it may be fun in the moment, think of the possible ramifications of your actions.” KD
Our Facility Health Protocols
We adhere to CDC, Massachusetts, and the town of Hadley recommendations and have tailored them to our Studio as follows:
Per the Town of Hadley, masks are no longer required while participating in classes/programs.
Class size is limited to 12 participants to allow for 6’ of distance between participants while the class/program is in session.
Upon entering the Lobby, participants are directed to one of two restrooms dedicated to hand washing.
Hand sanitizing stations are present throughout The Studio.
Classes and/or training sessions are spaced at least 15-minutes apart. This allows adequate time for proper cleaning and ventilation, safe transitions, and should alleviate congestion between classes/sessions.
Equipment is cleaned and sanitized after each class/session. This is a shared responsibility between The Studio instructors and the class/session participants.
High touch surfaces (i.e., entry doors, restroom doors, etc.) are cleaned and sanitized between classes/sessions.
Class/Session Protocols
The following guidelines will apply to all of our in-Studio classes, outdoor classes, small group series and personal training sessions:
Per the Town of Hadley, masks are no longer required.
Class/program participants have the option to wear a mask while attending classes/programs.
Class participants are strongly encouraged to arrive no less than 10-minutes prior to the class start time to allow adequate time to complete the facility health-related protocols, listed above. Please do your best to arrive prior to the start of class.
Participants must do their best to remain 6-feet apart while participating in classes, small group, and personal training sessions.
Participants will be encouraged to fill their own water bottles PRIOR to arriving at The Studio.
Participants attending equipment-based classes/programs will be required to wipe down the equipment they used during the class prior to vacating The Studio. Wash cloths and sanitizing solution will be provided by The Studio.
Equipment should not be shared and should not be handled by other participants during a class/session.
In the event of a personal training or small group training “no show”, the full session fee will be assessed.
Team/Instructor Guidelines
All instructors are fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.
Instructors have the option to wear a mask while teaching classes.
Instructors are required to wash and sanitize their hands before and after each class.
Instructors are required to clean/sanitize the stereo surfaces and all other items touched and/or used during their class.
Instructors must stay home if feeling ill or presenting with any COVID-19 related signs or symptoms.
Personal and Small Group Trainers minimize any prolonged close contact with clients/participants.
The Studio maintains a log of instructors, participants and clients for each class and/or Personal and Small Group Training session to support potential contact tracing efforts (name, date, time in the building, and contact information).
